Days 3 and 4 Afghanistan English Conference

These were a long day couple of days.  We covered a lot of ground at the conference.  It was great hearing the Afghan faculty talk about their experiences since the TESOL masters was implemented.  They are now admitting their 6th cohort of students and they had almost 200 applicants for 22 spots.

We are hoping that the conference will lead to future ventures in India with our Afghan colleagues.  I think this was a quite successful first step.  We had 8 faculty members, the Chancellor of Kabul University, and the former Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education attend.

This is such a bright group of faculty members.  I got to see a few folks I have known since 2005.

Tomorrow I start my adventure to Jaipur, Ranthambhore National Park, and Agra.
